Laila Ali has been ducking Wolfe for years, after she saw what happened to Vanda Ward, she has been scared to death of Wolfe. Laila is content to keep fighting girls with say a 6-2 record instead of getting in the ring with a fighter who has the experience and power of Ann Wolfe.
"Let's see", says Ali, "I'll take a 6-2 record for a challenger everytime" And I will proclaim myself as the best.
But Wolfe - well, she ONLY an 8 Time World Champion, and the ONLY fighter to ever hold Championship Belts in 4 Weight Divisions at the SAME TIME! A fighter who ko'd a 6'6" Vanda Ward with one punch and that "one punch" left the poor formerly undefeated Ward out cold for over 8 minutes, before being taken out on a stretcher. (I was there ringside by the way, and it was THE MOST DEVASTATING KO I have ever seen, by ANY fighter, male OR female)
No Laila, you are right, Ann doesn't deserve to get a shot your belts, not when there are more 6-2 or 8-3 fighters out there....
