Legendary Ref RICHARD STEELE to PROMOTE MMA!!!

    ""Steele retires again!
Will promote boxing and MMA in 2007
Hall of Fame referee Richard Steele has decided once and for all to call it a career as a referee. Steele, arguably the greatest referee of all time, refereed over 170 championship bouts in his 30 plus years, more than any other referee, and some of the greatest fights in boxing including Hagler vs. Hearns. Steele will now try his hand at promoting much like he did after his first retirement in 2001. Initially, he will dive into the ever growing sport of mixed martial arts. He is already in discussion with various venues in Las Vegas and Dallas. Steele will not sway far from his roots, however, as he will also look to promote boxing in 2007.

    You listed 4 people.
    How is that everybody??
Richard Steele isnt close to the greatest ref of all time, hes made some huge mistakes in the ring.
He will be most well known for his terrible stoppage in Chavez Taylor I.

It's a good thing he won't be ref'ing MMA, or fights would be stopped after the first take down.
