That's laughable. Cherry is an exciting once prospect late turned journeyman who's only recognition was given by FNF or Shobox.

Malignaggi already "earned" a shot at fighting Miguel Cotto......who was it that Malignaggi beat? That's right nobody.

Cherry's pro record is equally as impressive despite the losses. Malignaggi sucks, is featherfisted, and more than likely will get knocked out by the Cherry bomb. In fact 5k "Internet Points" on Cherry because I'm sick of hearing about Malignaggi the cross-dressing hero.

cherry's moving up for this bout to 140 from his natural weight of 135. If Cotto and his bullish strength at 140 couldnt put away Malignaggi, im not sure cherry can. I hate Paulie but i think he has a shot at a decision here. And Sechew Powell's opponent is rumoured to be Ishe Smith

as far as the overated goes, on FNF they really build him up and he's "The Cherry Bomb", but his fights are boring and his skill isnt really impressive.

Run, wow man I never knew you had so much aggression towards the Magic Man. Listen, I ve seen you post on here before so I know you got some knowledge It is just sometimes your emotion can get the best of you. So first of all Im a fan of Paulies and had the privledge of meeting him and Ive was one of the first ppl to rep him on this board.

But anyway going into the Cotto fight I knew why Cotto's ppl picked Paulie, after nearly gettin KO'd by Corley and Torres they went with one fighter with no movement and no punching power in Branco. Then they pick another kid with no punching power but as some speed and decent boxing ability but has nvr been tested on the big level, and that is Paulie. And let me tell you Paulie fought well man, he took a lot of mid rounds when he began to box Cotto. Dont let Cotto fans spin it into telling you it was this huge beating, b/c it wasnt. It was a very competive fight in which on the scorecards Paulie took 4 rds twice and 5 rds once. Not bad. And for ppl who dont beleive me check the silence in those middle rds when Paulie is doin his thing, if I remeber correctly they might have been a fient Paulie chant goin on. See for yourself when VERSUS replays the fight tomorrow nite.

Now this brings me too Cherry. I think this is a potentially dangerous opponet for your first first fight coming off your first loss. Cherry is a fringe contender who continually presses forward but has shown he struggles at times with boxers. The weight is not as big a deal as ppl seem to make it out to be 4 or 5 lbs is not that big of a deal and I beleive that they agreed to fight at 139 pounds. And no one complain when Cotto was fighting him and Cotto was a very big 140. Plus I believe they are the same height and too me Cherry has a bigger build, but it should be a good fight reguardless
