what do you think the chances of a fight with Jones, Calzaghe, or Maskaev or someone else is?

Although Hopkins likes to lecture everybody about "legacy" the truth is he is in it for the money like everybody else. He can make 5 or 10 times as much fighting one of the heavyweight beltholders as he could against anybody in qa lower weight division. Lets face it, Maskaev will be a lot easier than Calzaghe.

hell yeah i've always wanted to se that one too.
Maybe a tune up he could maybe win a crusier belt then a fight with Roy. Toney I think will be hard to get because JT doesn't need him at this point. Calz I think would be a bad fight either way to much risk and not enough money. Mask would be a great challenge and may be easy to make due to Hopkins name . Other than that i'm not sure what there is for him at this time .

i dont rele think its all about the money with hopkins...i just think he has nothing else to do...like most people who retire from doing something they love.....you gotta remember after hopkins beat big mouth, pretty much everyone on this site considered him to one of the greatest boxer of our time ( and theirs no questioning that) and for him to come out retirement, its just amazing...you gotta admire what hes doing...anyway i think hopkins should fight roy jones and shut his glass jaw up for once and all and "save" the heavy-weight division by beating maskaev ( which wont in reality save it, it will just make it worser because he will evenutally retire once we wins and give up the belt only to have an john ruiz another chance at a heavy-weight belt) and hopkins will go down in history again..personally i dont think roy jones would accept a fight with hopkin because he knows he will lose! a fight with calzag seems high risk/low reward in the main stream but as for true boxing fans hopkin will be consider the greatest middleweight ever if he defeats him ( in my book at least).....a fight with James toney is way outta the book, i dont want to see two philly boxers go at it, it will cause too much ****

we all know hopkins skill level is way beyond rjj....if you take away rjj speed/reflexes, he has no defence, he gets knocked out badly as he did in his last couple of fights
