Barrera is controlled aggression with more boxing/counter punching. Morales was all out go forward guy, just like Manny. I'd say the torch has been passed and now it's fitting to say, long live the new king. He's already bringing us amazing excitement in fights, let's hope he can continue until the day he passes the torch.
I agree, it was quite a symbolic moment. Especially if they are now friends, as is rumoured.

Hey look, something I should've known was gonna happen. Another race war! I wasn't saying anything in regards to Morales being Mexican or Manny being Filipino. I was saying, as far as styles and exciting fighters go, Morales' style and entertainment as a fighter, has been passed onto Manny. The same people that loved to watch Morales fight will no doubt watch Manny fight because they bring the same excitement no matter who they are facing.

Morales ****ed up bad in their last fight. Morales went in there for the knockout and thats the dumbest thing to do with a strong and super fast fighter like Pac. O well can't change whats already happened.

Um, I highly doubt that. Manny was even more 1 dimensional and fighting more or less crap competition compared to Morales when Morales was in his prime. Plus Manny was even younger and less experienced at that time. Manny won simply based on his strength and youth. That and not having been in as many wars as Morales although I don't know how true that really is. I think the war talk is more or less bull**** because who can really tell you if it's cause of the tough fights? Only the fighter knows that and Morales said it himself, it's not cause of the fights, and I believe him. He just looks like an aged fighter, that's all. He was more of a 122lbs fighter whose style and size worked great then. Now he's at a weight he's not effective as and he should retire, forget about this 4th title at 135lbs.

The only "PASSING OF THE TORCH" thats going to be going on

anytime soon, will be when (and if) Mayweather beats DLH.

It'll be the passing from one superstar to the next.

That is, if MAYWEATHER actually respects his fans and fights on

                    afterward.
