De La Hoya: "Mayweather First, Wright Next"

Six-division world champion Oscar De La Hoya is looking to end his career with a ****. Already booked to fight pound-for-pound king Floyd Mayweather, Jr. on May 5, De La Hoya notes that Winky Wright could possibly be the next fight following Mayweather. As many know, De La Hoya announced a few weeks ago that Mayweather would not be his last fight in the ring, and he would continue to fight as long as his reflexes were with him. [details]

Will people pay to see Oscar lose 2 times in a row?

He has a better shot at winning both fights than you think.

He's a bigger man than Floyd and I'd say the most skilled fighter Floyd's ever faced. Those are just simple facts.

Oscar is really active, and if Wright doesn't constantly tag him with the jab, his combination punching will easily win him the nod on the judges cards.

Oscar WILL beat Floyd. Floyd stands still to much and tries to play the "make you miss" game. Oscar is to active for that and is gonna land light flurries all night and eventually land a big left hook.

I think it could go either way with Wright, but for the first few rounds against Hopkins De La Hoya looked good, maybe he can do just enough to earn a decision in a close fight.

If DLH isnt in tip-top shape for a WRIGHT fight, he'll get tagged all night. He'd have to be really active. It'd be like Wright Soliman in a way, or at least i hope.

Wright isnt a good fight for DLH, especially if he loses badly to Mayweather
