taller/bigger Filipinos tend to focus on basketball rather than boxing... primarily because its not that risky, health-wise... and being a basketball player here in the philippines pays well...

soccer is not that well known over here... basketball might even be more popular than boxing and pool here... the Philippines had the first professional basketball league in asia....

I don't think we normally see Asian fighters naturally as big as HWs anyway...a lot of Mexican fighters are in lower weight classes because naturally a lot of them are smaller...I kind of think the same for Asian fighters
