well he's had one no contest so he's not close to breaking that record just yet. Other fighters in lower weights have already broken that record anyway so it's no big deal. Valuev will have to retire as undefeated undisputed champ to truely break Marciano's record.

It was against a guy called Andreas Sidon. No one seems to know why this fight became a no contest (according to boxrec anyway)

Thats the only problem. Many casual boxing fans won't know about the NC and will think he's broken the rocks record if he goes beyond 49-0. Just hoping he gets in the ring with Wlad very soon!

U think any1 other than Wlad can beat him? As pants as he is there cant be many who could overcome the sheer size of the man! He'd squash guys like Toney in the clinches i think anyway! I give Sam Peter a good shot like

Wlad and Peter are the main two. Don't know about Briggs, Maskaev or Lyakovish. Brewster has plenty of talent but is pretty small. Hard to judge considering we haven't seen Valuev in against the best heavies - nor have we seen the best heavies in with a guy of Valuevs size.

When has Wlad ever been in with a guy that is 6 inches taller and nearly 100 lbs heavier? All the fights would be interesting though.
