    Marquez calls out Pacquiao (again)

"Pacquiao is being told that he's the best, but to prove that, he needs to fight me because I am also the best, and I think we need to fight each other."

Manny Pacquiao, right now, is at his best and he's on a roll now," said Marquez (45-3-1, 34 KOs). "Erik Morales got in good condition, but what I can tell you is that the body is like a machine and you need to take care of it right. He paid the price of doing whatever he did to his body -- losing 40 pounds or whatever he lost. The body can't take that and you saw that this weekend. Pacquiao is being told that he's the best, but to prove that, he needs to fight me because I am also the best, and I think we need to fight each other."

I suppose he'd like for Pacquiao to move down in weight and offer him 10 million for the fight?

        How do you add "Again"

When Marquez turned down TWO career high paydays to rematch Pac?

He had TWO opportunities to rematch, and didn't want it.

I'd rather see a Guzman fight. Let Marquez either avenge the loss to John, or move up and win a meaningful fight at 130.

See look, it's almost a joke when you call me ****** and can't even use punctuation. I don't speak jibberish baby talk like you, you must communicate on a mature and informed level with your intellectual superior Asian Sensation

Now, what are the terms that Marquez would find favorable that he didn't previously? He's not going to make more money, he doesn't have any belts. He left the trinkets that defined his career and self in Indonesia with a guy named Chris John. He hasn't fought anybody of note in recent times, the last guy anybody can recall was Manny Pacquiao. He's going to have to settle for short money and the short end of fate probably. He doesn't seem motivated like he used to and gets hit alot more frequently. I think Pacquiao runs through him in 6.

I think Marquez is more than willing to fight Pacquiao but Berinstan is the guy you have to worry about. He's the reason why Marquez turned down the rematch.

JMM is calling-out PAC coz he knows PAC cannot fight him due to promotional issues! Y didnt he fight PAC when they offered JMM 750,000 dollars for a rematch? Instead he fought a bum in the jungles of Indonesia for $35K and lost! BWAHAHAHAHA

JMM is only after publicity for his coming up fight this Saturday. Get that?

Juan Manuel Marquez is now Xcaret's "Great Mexican Hope" against Manny Pacquiao. Marquez is as ready to fight Pacquiao as "The Great White Hope" Jim Jeffries was against Jack Johnson. To Xcaret, it's all about race and not about who is the better fighter. If you ask him who is better between two fighters, his first question is "Which one is the Mexican?"

Ahh, eerily reminiscent of Cus D'Amato's insistence that Floyd Patterson avoid Sonny Liston.

Pac doesn't needs to fight Marquez to prove that he's the best, it's the other way around.
