Thats what he said in a couple of Philippine interviews. The huge amount of fans spent money they did not have to watch him fight. Pacquiao just wanted to please the fans and give them their moneys worth.

yes! the boxing scribes blew it out of proportion. they should just keep PAC's victory under the radar...PAC's victory is nothing compared to Pretty Boy's win against Baldo...jab...jab...jab...run..run and run.

No clearly the fight was the biggest thing going on in boxing this past weekend and deserved a lot of coverage. Furthermore it was an exciting fight so more coverage deserved. But I think what I (and some others are saying) is that Pac's last 3 victories while exciting weren't as signficant in terms of p4p status as some are making it out to be. Also I find it interesting that Pac has fought 3 fights in a row against opponents coming off of a loss (although I'll give him a pass for Morales III b/c the loss was to him and it was a rubber match). Not taking anything away from Pac, it was a great performance on Saturday night and I think he showed he has made big strides in terms of diversifying his attack.
