I have been watching Cotto for a long time now. He was so fluid and quick and powerful when he was younger. I think that making 140 took a big toll on him at the end of his campaign there...he will look better at 147. The only fear I have for him is his short reach. He may have trouble with long-armed opponents and defending himself late in fights when he's coming forward.

Kid's still ridiculous though. I can't wait to see the Quintana fight. Quintana was damned impressive against Julio...I hope that Cotto comes out and makes a statement in this fight.

Ive watched that vid like 5 times now and it just dont get old! Favourite fighter on the planet! Hope he duz the biz at 147, his reach IS a concern tho aint it! Quitana is a worry 4 me as a Cotto fan aswell! He should get back 2his boxing a bit more, as aposed 2 fighting, although mayby not against Quintana!

I'm a little worried, rumors are he keeps partying hard and you can't be an elite fighter like that. Quintana will beat up his ass if he keeps getting wasted every weekend.

Cotto. Very good fighter. This guy is impresive. He will make some noise at 147. Quintana will be a challenge. Quintana being a natural 147 pounder would make it more of a challenge. Still i say Cotto comes out with the KO win. That power he carried at 140 will be with him at 147. Cotto is going to be a better fighter at 147. Just watch and see.

I especially liked the Sosa and Bailey fights. He walked through some massive shots from Bailey and also ate a very hard right hand from Sosa and kept coming from more. Showed very very good skills on these two fights. These were right before his weight issues I hope when he moves up to 147 he shows the same chin as in those fights as Quintana is gonna check it for sure. I'd also like to see him box more and avoid getting careless in exchanges.

Hopefully his chin is shaky because he seems a bit drained at 140, but if it isn't from that, he is going to continue to have some trouble

He shut Abdullaev's eye, he broke Malignaggi's jaw, and he crushed Branco's arm. What's he got in store for Quintana?
