So you're telling me that Salita is good. What kind of fighter is he...boxer; puncher; boxer/puncher?

Winner or if this doesn't come off should fight Victor Ortiz, that'd be a good one. I picture Santana-Salita an all out brawl...

I would really be surprised if this fight happens, since Main Events is very interested in matching Salita against Gatti, in Arturo's comeback fight.

Damn straight, I'd send them right back home. And what Mexican are you talking about? I think Santana and Salita can beat Ortiz, how about you?

Dmitriy told me that he wants Gatti but that he had a date at 140 for February and wouldn't go up right away. But alot of people have been telling me that this fight would be all Santana, and that's not out of the question. Santana works him over in the gym, for real.

Salita's good, but he hasn't yet become the star fighter as a pro I thought he'd be after a great amateur career. He's stuck between styles because of all the trainers he's had. He was with Hector Rocha, who tried to make him into a slugger. Salita's more a sharp shooter, but his technique is off alot. He's been given handpicked opponents and has atleast 3 gift decisions. He punches at the target but not through it. And he tends to fall apart when things aren't going his way. I know he has alot of untapped potential, but he can't unlock it mentally.

Santana wins by late KO in the 11th. If it's even a 12 rounder. IMO Salita is kind of overated.
