If it sets up a fight with Castillo then it has worth.

you can't be serious. Urango is pathetic at best. Mayweather won every round against Baldomir and I said if Baldomir wins 2 rounds, he's better than I thought. I'm saying this about Urango. if he makes it past 4, Hatton should be ashamed of himself.

Urango is a tough dude. he is made of muscle i seen against ben Rabah.

He got power, chin, southpaw as well as a brawler. I think he will come more poilshed in Hatton fight and people will be amazed that he is going to KO Hatton. If Callzo made his face swallow i wonder what will Urango.

As for the gift fight that he got is different because ben Rabah actully was moving around and was rarely hit he gave an uppercut right and moved the way straight on the chin too and he still stood there.

You seriously think Castillo wouldn't fight Hatton unless he beats Urango? What a joke...

Nice sig. Tell me, what are the 2 highest grossing fights of all time, in terms of ppv and gate receipts?

(hint: they both featured a British fighter)

On a side note, has Urango ever displayed a weak chin? How did you come to the conclusion that 4 rounds was the marker for a good or poor performance? I'd love for you to enlighten us all.

Gatti was crushed by mayweather and it just seemed pointless for Hatton to be chasing that fight, if hatton loses, its his first loss, pursuing the castillo fight would still be huge because its just one loss, whereas gatti had 7 and baldomir gave him 8, which is why the Gatti fight was ******, how you gonna fight Mayweathers leftovers like that and not come after mayweather at 147, thats lame.

It also helps that Ray Hatton and Hattons trainer spend so much time talking all that ****in **** about MAYWEATHER PICKS HIS FIGHTS etc etc, when they are doing the same thing if not worse because Hatton is moving back down. which isnt a problem, excep they keep running their mouth about mayweather. If they just shut up this wouldnt be a problem.

To be honest, right now Ricky needs to get back into shape and back into form. I've never seen urango, but if this fight is in vegas and it's a tearup then I'll not be complaining. I all but gave up on Hatton being up there with the very best back in 2003 or something like that when he started getting hit far too often. Right now he should concentrate on provinding entertainment and earing good cash against passable opponents until he eventually gets beat.

damn it's been a long time since they put on a fight at the paris hotel. i think the last one was either ruiz-holyfield 2 or 3, that or Hopkins-Echols 2 with Barerra on the undercard. but it's been a while to say the least.

it's not a bad spot for a fight but then again it's not a real huge venue like MGM or Mandalay Bay..........
