What more does Pacquiao have to do?

There's a lot of respect threads going out there to Erik Morales right now and almost nothing going out to Pacquiao respect wise. Don't get me wrong, I love Morales and will miss him deeply. But I just find it ****ed up that Morales get's KO'd and the sympathy and respect come pouring out by the dozens and Pacquiao barely gets a mention.

Instead all I hear is "Juarez would KO Pacquiao" or "Pacquiao needs to fight Valero" or "Raheem is better than Pacquiao". I'm not saying you have to love Pacquiao but goddamn respect the man, he's done a lot thus far and his fights are always entertaining.

So what more does he have to do to get your respect? Beat Valuev?!

LMFAO, that was good and I owe you karma.

Seriously though, I'm a Pacquiao fan as well as a Morales fan. I'm not whining I just think it's ****ed up that Morales has like, 52 new threads dedicated to him and I've yet to see one dedicated to giving respect to Pacquiao.

Maybe because he was expected to beat Morales......but then not that quick.......so a lot of fans felt sorry for Eric. Specially when HBO is telling everybody that they think Morales is retiring.

Dude, with all due respect, that's bull****. Every Mexican fight fan on this board was saying Morales was in great condition and looking amazing and was going to outbox Pacquiao for a UD and then retire. We expected him to retire beforehand and most of the Mexican fight fans said Morales would win. Hell after Morales had that interview where he was ontrack to losing the weight they went ****ing nuts.

Humanity's tendency for generousity towards the fallen. The tunes we hear are dirges and the lines we read are obituaries of a great career.

When time comes for Pacquiao to step down, I'm confident there shall be more kindness than the ones we are seeing and hearing.

Its all good, Morales deserves it after giving us so much. Hopefully Pac gets the respect he deserves when he passes the torch to a younger, faster, hungrier fighter.
