Whatever you want to achieve in life including boxing, look forward,do not look backwards or sideways unless your trainer, child, wife etc has something good to tell you.Look forward.Eat boxing, think boxing, train boxing, live boxing. The problem with most people is that they look sideways, get into not so necessary arguements that cost them time.Time is everything, use it well in life.

Stay calm and punch lighter on the bag so you can last more rounds, keep your form together, and punch sharp. This will allow you to get in more minutes of quality bagwork. You want to have energy to hit the bag with correct form and keep your punches snappy, instead of spending most of your bagwork panting and huffing to show that you have “heart”. Don’t waste energy showing off on the bag – nobody cares.
Don’t workout till complete failure. Get tired, break a sweat, and just push yourself a little more each day. If you go until failure everyday of the week without a reason, you’ll probably overtrain and quit boxing very soon.

        Solid advice there.

Quality bag work by pulling your punches? That's how a beatch would work the bag. What are you gaining by pulling your punches? I would much rather be the guy busting his a$$ on the bag rather than the pre-Madonna prancing around the bag trying to look good. So what happens when you fight? The guy who was busting his a$$ will do much better than the pre-Madonna. Train as you'll fight, because essentially, you will fight as you've trained. I venture to guess that you have never had a bout and work out in a place with lots ladies around...…...Rockin'
