I mean Canelo fought at 155 (1 lb above JMW). He was hardly ever a "Middleweight". It doesn't matter how much he rehydrates because he always makes weight. So what's the difference? He can cut to 154-155 and use that to his advantage...like every other fighter.

lil g cannot do that because he is 34-35 years old. With age you can't move around in weight as much. lil g instead keeps fighting C level fighters or smaller fighters. lil g / Sanchez called out a couple of bigger fighters (i.e., Ward) but renigged on those offers once Ward accepted. Instead they focus on Floyd, Pac, Canelo, Cotto, Brook, etc.

Nothing to admire about lil g...but his power is real for sure. However, we definitely don't know about his chin yet. Brook had him backed up and busted up in R2 of their fight...and Brook is a goddamn WW.
