It takes a lot of discipline and serious mental strength to commit to fighting mostly 4 rounders through your whole career.

I've watched a number of his fights both boxing and the mma. That "cowboy" guy who won first bout then was TKO'd in the rematch. And quite a few mma meetings (losses; wins).
The thing that impresses me about him as a human being is aa) his bravery in stepping into "Open field"/mma -&- bb) His Sportsmanship win or lose.

This thread is hilarious!!!
I remember he had a 4 rounder on tuesday night fights where he threw a hook that whiffed about 2 inches in front of his opponents nose and the guy crumpled to the mat. I guess the air wave or sonic vibration from the looping missed hook knocked the guy out.
I can't give him credit for going the distance against Holmes though, Larry had been boxing for 3 decades at that point & still beat him.
