It's in the thread. Punch stat vs what actually happened is on the front page. We even did a round by round comparison of the 3rd round and how wide the difference compubox punch tally was from actual punch connected, and if you recall. You did agree Pac proved to be the true winner of that round.

PAC won that round.

What it all means is compubox numbers were padded for Floyd and it was an obvious attempt to defraud the viewing public of fake compubox stats to make at appear Floyd was substantially winning, which was not the case as this epic thread has exposed.

This fight cannot be postponed. There were millions upon millions of endorsers not just in the united states, but from all over the world, cable networks purchased the fight from all over the globe. The fight was already paid for and ready to be seen from all over the world for this supposed super fight to happen. Big betters from Casinos have placed their bets already. Sports bookies are already making a killing. This was a freight train that cannot be stopped. Pac knew that it cannot be postponed. There is too much money riding for them to cancel it due to a shoulder injury. Like the saying goes in Hollywood, 'the show must go on!'

That to me is what's admirable to Pacquiao, too much riding in this fight from a lot of major endorsers and people who invested on it, he shrugged his pain and chugged along. And if you haven't realize, this injured fighter was the one pushing the action for 12 rounds, pushing Floyd to the ropes over and over as Floyd's solution to survive 12 rounds was to hug and run for 12 boring rounds, as you have mentioned. Can't blame Pac for that, even if he was injured, he still pressed on and as video evidence has proven, with an injured shoulder he connected more than Floyd, and not only that, he connected the more telling blows as well. That is a mark of a true ATG.

The injured man did this to Floyd.




That said, Same scenario happened to Loma Rigo fight, it was the same fight as the Pacquiao Mayweather fight. Rigo kept hugging and had to quit, but Floyd kept hugging but had to run and eventually survived the 12 rounds and got a gifted score card.


Guillermo Rigondeaux kept on hugging Loma in their fight that in the 6th round @ 22.00 the Ref had to give him a point deduction, which is the right thing to do in the case of a coward boxer who was there to survive and not to fight as the other one put on a good show while the other one hugged his way to a defeat. The good thing is in that fight the true winner won that night which was Loma deservingly so, while that cannot be said to the Floyd Pacquiao fight though.. The true winner lost that night for pressing the action against a coward who just ran and ran to the disappointment of the crowd as he hugged his was to a rigged score card.. Oh the Irony.. Why is it only Floyd who gets away in Vegas? He is after all the golden goose in Vegas..


When Floyd hugs he is entitled to it, as many as he wants, and for some odd way wins backing up with less punch connects compared to the aggressive Fighter Pacquiao that pressed on and connected more against the coward who was only there to survive.
