Let's get a brief overview of the current British HW scene. Which of these guys (if any) will make a real impact over the next few years?

    TYSON FURY
    AGE: 27 RECORD: 24-0 (18 KO)

Fury has amassed a decent record at a relatively young age. Standing 6'9 and weighing around 260 lbs, he uses noticable boxing ability with good footwork, relatively fast hands and adaptability in the ring. As Fury says, put me in the middle of the jungle, and I will come out wearing a chinchilla and a millionaire. We'll see how far his skills and attitude will take him when he faces Vladimir Klitschko next.

    ANTHONY JOSHUA
    AGE: 25 RECORD: 13-0 (13 KO)

The talented Olympic gold medalist only took up boxing in 2007 and has since made a meteoric rise. Seen as the successor to Vladimir by many.

    DERECK CHISORA
    AGE: 31 RECORD: 21-5 (14 KO)

Former European champion, his career took a dive during the last few years following a series of defeats, but Del Boy is back on track with a recent KO win and a new trainer. Can he get back in title contention? A dedicated, in shape Chisora gives anybody a fight.

    DAVID PRICE
    AGE: 32 RECORD: 19-3 (16 KO)

Pricey has had a difficult pro career. A once promising KO artist, he has suffered some painful KO defeats himself in recent years. Price packs a huge punch, but his chin has proven to be weak. Unless he gets some sort of face transplant where a concrete jaw is inserted into his head, it is difficult to see him as anything else but a fringe contender. At least entertainment value is guarenteed when he steps into the ring.

    Continued,

    HUGHIE FURY
    AGE: 20 RECORD: 16-0 (8 KO)

Cousin of Tyson Fury, this fella is young and promising. Part of a future duo, The New Klitschko's?

    DILLIAN WHYTE
    AGE: 27 RECORD: 15-0 (12 KO)

Undefeated, hard punching prospect set to fight Anthony Joshua later this year for the British title.

Of those Joshua looks the best, but is largely untested. You can see the athleticism and his dedication to the craft every fight. Next year we will find out a lot about him.

Tyson Fury I think will have an up and down career where on one night he will put it all together and look amazing and other nights he will look worse. A 6'9 80whatever inch reach guy with his mobility is not an easy out for anyone. Plus he will be sparking out Klitschko soon so there is that.

Dillian Whyte looks decent. Im really interested to see how he does with J banks. He will teach him decent fundamentals that he learned from Manny Steward. Reckon he loses to AJ but if he stays dedicated can definitely make a mark on the world scene.

Hughie I dont rate as highly as some. He has a decent boxing brain and ok footwork but his lack of hand eye coordination is really shocking. He very rarely lands clean punches in his fights and as he moves up the levels he will find it more difficult to win on activity and smothering imo. Remains to be seen if he will fully recover from this mysterious illness he had.

Dell Boy is obviously on the downside now after being thrown to the wolves a little bit over the last few years. Maybe can make a comeback to Euro level but dont see him ever making a mark at world level.

Pricey needs to retire, or not ever move above domestic level (no matter how quickly he is getting KO's). He was never that good in the first place but especially now he seems to lack any confidence in his ability. I'd be shocked and very impressed if he can turn it round from here

I am mostly interested in Joshua and Whyte. If they match up before new year it should be quite a Brit event. It would test both guys quality level too.

lol........at the picture selected for Price.

I think Tyson Fury has to be the pick at the minute.

I haven't see AJ forced to take a backward step yet. Maybe briefly against Bakhtov.

Well I don't know really but I like Fury and Whyte and Joshua will do well too, but I would have liked it better if Joshua was bringing a better pedigree with him.

What I can say is that the British boxing scene is quite strong going by that line up.
