    Mayweather Khan fight likely

The still undefeated Floyd Mayweather emerged as the sole pound-for-pound king in the boxing world on May 2 after defeating Manny Pacquiao. But his journey is not over yet. Mayweather is under contract with CBS for a fight during the month of September. The fight will be a no-title fight as Mayweather is planning to giveaway all his five titles in a matter of days and free him off the burden.

Is this possible. What do you say?

I'm sure Mayweather will fight Khan ... once his reflexes, fitness, conditioning etc. etc. have all withered and gone.

And I'm sure a few millions suckers will pay to watch it.

The frustrating thing is - Khan has all the tools to give Mayweather fits. He has a quick, powerful and - most important of all - scoring jab. He's blindingly fast, delivers extremely accurate combinations and is capable of taking the scoring away from his opponent within sixty seconds of a three-minute round.

For a considerable amount of time Mayweather's Achilles heel is a fighter who forces him into actually working for the duration of a round - rather than pot-shotting once or twice to steal away the point by a very small margin.

Unfortunately Khan is just so undisciplined. If ever a fighter made some bad, bad choices early on with his trainers Khan is he.
