  • Joe calzaghe unified super middleweight!!! but did he knock Jeff Lacy down?

For Joe Calzaghe. I would say that was the best fight I have seen in a while. Every single round, he had Jeff Lacy on his toes, but you got to give it to jeff, he has heart. So guys give me your opinion of what you thought and what did you guys think of that knockdown or was it a push

Sure mayweather is on a roll but eventually everyone's luck runs out, look at roy jones for instance but i belive mayweather will be in for quite a few years to come they way he fights is amazing he has the speed and the power and best of all he dosent have a weak chin like someone can really prove it, they can hardly hit him!!!!

I believe the only one that could have beat him is carlos monzon back in the the 70's he was exactly like mayweather.

It was more of a push or a Lacy stumbling than a real knockdown. I believe that had Joe not hurt his hand he would have taken Lacy out. Also, if this had been a 15 round fight Lacy would not have gone the distance and possibly would have been badly hurt. Lacy is a good fighter but not in Joe's class.

not a knock down, just a tired fall with the help of a push/punch!

It was definitely not a knockdown. But Joe beat pasta noodles out of my dude Jeff. He has too many flaws in his boxing game and Joe was excellent in exposing them. I want to see Lacy move his head more.

No, he was exhausted and lost his balance, Joe obviously destroyed him.

Great heart and guts shown by Lacy, poor decision by the referee and Lacy's corner not to stop it though, for the last couple of rounds Jeff was a punching bag and I hope it has not caused him any permanant damage either physically or mentally in the long run (psychologically)

Joe Calzaghe won without a doubt but I believe he didnt KO Jeff Lacy. The replay showes that Calzaghe pushed but at the same time Jeff Lacy was tired and therefore fell from a little push. Watching that fight, I dont believe how Jeff Lacy is a world class fighter. He didn't do anything throughout the fight. I dont understand if he is hyped by the media or he just had a bad day.
