I just popped on here to start a thread about this without the hysteria of the main page.

I just want to get a clearer picture.

As far as I'm aware GGG's team came out and said "We're fighting Murray on February 1st in Monte Carlo"

Then Murray says "No, I'm on the bill but not fighting Golovkin"

And now GGG's team are claiming Murray doesn't WANT the fight.

I heard Murray got offered $500,000 which is a bloody good purse if true - but how many options were involved?

I'd love to know more about this. The pathetic name calling that some cyber-warriorkids are doing aside what is the truth here?

Is that purse amount correct? Has Murray released any statements? I'm sure Ricky Hatton will come out & say something on Monday.

WHen I heard the purse I thought no way...500k? Golovkin doesn't even get 500... then I remembered the Monaco million dollar tourney and whoever backed it there must've put up the money. Heard the Prince of Monaco put money up for fights.

Didn't Team GGG say Murray is running scared? Murray was a pundit on a Sky Boxing show a week or so ago and the things he was coming out with kind of said to me that he doesn't want to fight GGG but that is just my humble opinion.
