I was expecting to come back to read about some intereesting characters, Does no one else share my belief about the journeymen?

well journeyman are journeyman, aren't they? They are unsung because they don't do much except be used as stepping stones for bigger names or young, talented fighters. I would hardly call them heroes.

They definitely provide a thorough service to the sport but unsung heroes? No.

Not to purposefully tickle TS balls but guess it comes down to semantics

I'd suggest you very eloquently prove the case journeymen are heroes.
Certainly the more recent definition of hero.
