  • BoxNation Online?

Has anyone here subscribed to BoxNation's online livesport.tv?

I'm thinking of subscribing soon but wouldn't mind some feedback on the quality and particularly the reliability of the service.

Any views on it? or even boxnation in general?

I tried it once, but being outside of the UK it didn't work which is a little ****ty to be honest. This was about a year or two ago, so they might have changed it.

      I have boxnation online

It's not bad to be honest, plenty of good fight, bunces boxing show, a few repeats here and there worth the money imo

Fights could do with being in HD and a tv guide per day would be more more preferential than the monthly schedule thats on there at the moment

I'm well aware I could stream it for free but as an avid boxing fan I would much rather put the money back into boxing

I subscribed for Haye vs Chisora i think (or some other fight), wasn't too impressed to be honest as its mostly repeats.

I did hear about the technical issues when they first went online but haven't those been cleared up by this point?

So did you unsubscribe, if so, how? did you have to phone up or could you do it online?

I hear you, the vast majority of streams are unreliable. I'd like to know I can actually rely on a feed to watch the fight.

Also, I don't want to have to stay up every time to watch the Vegas/NY fights, do BoxNation put on a replay of the fights the next morning?

Yes they do, they replay the whole show. Which is great when you want to see the immediate build up and ring walk, but god awful when you have to listen to Buncey and some guest in a ramshackle studio filling time for ages between fights.

My main gripe with BoxNation is that even when they show replays months after the show (which they do a lot due to the limited amount of fights they have the rights to show) they still put on the entire 4/5 hour card rather than splitting it down and just showing the individual fights.

Also - and I'm not sure how/if would affect web-streaming - they have a habbit of misjudging when cards will run to. So they will advertise it being 1am to 5 am and I duly set sky to record, however the fights run til half 5, so the recording stops half way through the main event.

.....rant over, its still worth the money!!

I was going to post exactly the same thing. They should allow those outside the UK to subscribe as well.
