  • JBC matchmaking made Murata fight Shibata?

I read a ring article saying Murata won't enjoy the luxury of building his record because of strict JBC oversight.
Are they the reason he had to fight Shibata in his first pro fight?
Also won't be able to fight in Macao or Singapore until three pro fights in Japan. Looks like that throws a wrench in Arum's plan and he won't be able to make a debut there until next year..... but I can see Arum trying to build his case in the surrounding Asian countries.
I thought Murata did well against somebody more vastly experienced than him.
He had his flaws here and there. At points he was following Shibata and used his forearms too much, but good debut.
I don't see him winning a world title, but a good attraction in asia at least

He has flaws barely moved his head but considering the opposition it was a good win

Yea that too. I wonder how soon they get him back in because I know Arum will want to get those three fights out of the way.
Also.... I see Arum trying to put him in that New Years card

Think he'll stay fighting in Asia or will Arum move him up to the world stage by then?

Murata says himself that he wants to fight abroad. Arum is enthuseastic about an actual prospect he was able to acquire unlike shiming. He still has to adjust quite a bit to the pro gme but showed much much more potential then shimng.

no doubt there.... streets ahead of him.
2 more fights until he can fight abroad, maybe in Macao.... Arum should still raise his stock in Japan a little though before taking him abroad.
I'd say Charlie Ota, but Charlie a little too small

Skys the limit for murata as of now hes got all the financial backings and power in both hands. Charlie ota is a good opponent to start out with but many getting someone thats ranked maybe in the lowerhalf of the world rankings would be good forhim. But rushing him would be bad maybe european level would be a better start seeing as many europeans compete in the middleweights.

I can see Uncle Bob keeping it in Japanese MW's for a few more fights...maybe try to get Ishida a few more fights down the road. That'd be a good one, also Fuchigami to use as a measuring stick to him and Golovkin
