  • Anyone Think That Groves Can Beat Froch?

I really hope this fight gets made. I'd have Froch a favourite but if Groves can mix in power & MOVEMENT he has a decent chance.

Yeh Groves' style may well cause Froch a few problems. But his chin must be a big concern, Froch lands clean and it is game over.

I dont think Groves is ready for Froch yet tbh. Maybe he never will be.

Groves has a decent jab but i think Froch's is better, and he will control the fight behind it. Im also fully convinced that Groves has **** stamina so the second half of the fight i reckon will either be a beatdown or a stoppage for Froch.

Groves could have done with 1 or 2 sterner SMW tests before being put in with Froch imo. Since Degale he has fought an old Paul Smith, Francisco Sierra (who?), an ancient Glen Johnson, Dario German Balmaceda (who?), Baker Barakat (who?) and Noe Gonzalez Alcoba. Hardly great prep for the 2nd best SMW on the planet

I'm not so sure. Froch is a stiff rather than concussive puncher & I think people are thinking about Groves v Anderson when he was still a relative novice.

i dont think groves can hurt froch, and with froches confidence to take a punch he will blast out groves simular to bute. gotta be someone physical to beat froch, i think froch even has a chance against ward second time round but it would be a tall ask. i think groves should move down to middle. maybe fight golovkin / chavez jr / martinez.

Good bloke, good boxer but untested against top 5 SMWs and Froch is a heck of a step up. I see him getting stopped, maybe even Bute'd.

Froch does hit hard though and I may be wrong, but hasn't he dropped Groves in sparring in the past?
