  • Best British Prospect (Under 10 Fights).

Who is the best UK prospect (novice?) around. Less than ten fights only. I'm sure the chaps based in the UK can help add to this list.

    Some contenders.

Dillian White 9(6)-0. Heavy. Aged 26. Banned but still young enough to come good.
Hughie Fury 4(3)-0. Heavy. 18. When I watch him I think how poised & comfortable he looks.
Kash Ali 4(0)-0. Heavy. 21. Watched a couple of videos. A Brendan Ingle heavy is always going to be fun.
Frank Buglioni 8(6)-0. Supermiddle. 24. I hope he goes far as he has a great fan base already. Will be fun to have another Hatton type boxer (in popularity terms).
Callum Smith 6(4)-0. Supermiddle. From the fighting Scouse family. Looks a great prospect so far.
Chris Eubank Jnr 9(4)-0. Middle. 23. Great skill but likes to get involved a little too much for my liking.
Larry Ekundayo 6(2)-0. Lightmiddle. 30. Haven't seen him but his Prizefighter win made me sit up & take notice.
Terry Holmes 7(1)-0. Welter. 21. Had a great win over Dean Byre last year but only fought once since then. Why?
James Tennyson 7(6)-0. Superfeather. 19. Already the Irish Champion. Anyone seen him?
Kallum De'Ath 4(0)-0. Superbantam. 24. I only added him because of his name.
Khalid Yafai 8(6)-0. Bantam/Superfly. 23. Possibly the best of the lot. Could go on to become the 2nd best English Yemeni boxer of all time.

Thanks Mate. Watched a couple of interviews with him. Seems a lively kid.

Reminds me of a young Kevin Mitchell.

      Oops.

Did someone really mention Dillian Whyte? Eurgh

Callum Smith and Kal Yafai are the 2 obvious choices. Luke Campbell and Anthony Ogogo will both go very far.
