  • DeGale Vs Demers

James DeGale takes on Sebastien Demers tonight in Canada.
I tweeted Channel 5 and Hennessy Sports in the week asking if there will be any delayed coverage but recieved no reply. I'm sure there will be a stream knocking around though if anyone wanted to catch it :ANYWORD:

Hope you find a stream mate....

.....if Channel 5 have to do a big MSG fight like Fury v Cunningham from a cheap, tatty studio in London and nick the pictures from the US host broadcaster, then they sure as hell won't be broadcasting from Degale v Demers in any kind of style.

I think Hennessy is in big trouble getting fights on Channel 5 now with Eubank Jr having problems as well as DeGale. Kid Galahad quiet as well.

Wouldn't be surprised to see them move like the rest to Sky.

My su****ion - and it is only that - is that Channel 5 want to keep Tyson and Hughie Fury on their channel and are probably trying to dredge-up the money from somewhere to make this happen.

In the meantime, I don't think they are necessarily going to televise fights with Degale, Eubank Junior and Galahad topping their own bills.

Probably the only way it works for Channel 5 is to show the big Fury fights and with Degale, Galahad and Chris Junior fighting as undercard/support acts.

That won't please these guys or their accountants; but the Fury's are heavyweights and can deliver the audiences and the advertising.

Degale needs to step it up,its that simple,i do worry that he will fade into obscurity,as he was one of my favourite prospects before his loss to Groves

            Demon,

Serious question. Why did he stop being one of your favourite fighters after the loss to Groves?

He went down in my estimation during the build up to the Groves fight. Trash talk can be amusing but DeGale is not a funny man. He just came across as a bit of a knob.

I'm also still not sure if Jimmy Mac is the right trainer for him.

I wish him the best but he just feels like a lost cause at the moment.
He really needs a defining fight.
