Am i right in thinking this fight is close to being made. If so, how do you see it going ?

Have not heard any rumours...so might not be on the cards, despite it appearing to be a natural 'progression/acid test' fight for FG.

Really don't know enough about DV to be sure what he actually brings to the table....

.....is he a top drawer guy who is being forced to tick-over in the sticks because he does not have the right profile, style and connections or is he a jobbing domestic level champwho FG will get round to outclassing when the time is right?

Denton seems to have been on the scene for ages; so it is about time to see whether he is world class or not. He's a bloke in a serious need of a career-defining fight.

Hard to tell how good Vassell is. Gavin too. The winner should push on to Euro level.

Very interesting fight, both looking to step up and move into European honours, both perhaps have stayed around British level for too long.

Stylistically its interesting too, I havent seen a huge amount of Vassel but from what ive seen hes a strong a rugged type guy with a bit of finesse to go with it. Big at the weight, excellent conditioning aswell.

Gavin seems to be the opposite to this in my eyes. Excellent boxer, good punch selection and good footwork, but looks quite small at welter and hasnt shown much power.

I might need to watch more tape but i think Gavin will shine in this one but it really depends on if he can keep the bigger man from just walking straight over him. If i change my mind later having watched more of Vassel dont judge me
