i saw the ishimoto vasquez. it was a good fight and i was going for my guy ishimoto. he dropped vasquez in the 8th with a straight right which was the deciding factor of the fight. Vasquez no has 3 losses. He lost to Donaire, Arce and now Ishimoto. can vasquez compete at world class anymore or was Ishimoto's come forward brawling style and toughness just a bad match up for him?

No, I didn't think he was particularly that good to start with and whilst he was disappointing on Saturday, I think he's found his level. He come out of nowhere when he beat Sonsona and got people talking, he gave a great account of himself against Donaire and at 28, he'll stick around for a few more years.
Ishimoto wanted it more and I was impressed with his performance, Japan has a strong boxing scene and it normally means something when you leave it behind with your '0' still intact. -
