i saw the ishimoto vasquez. it was a good fight and i was going for my guy ishimoto. he dropped vasquez in the 8th with a straight right which was the deciding factor of the fight. Vasquez no has 3 losses. He lost to Donaire, Arce and now Ishimoto. can vasquez compete at world class anymore or was Ishimoto's come forward brawling style and toughness just a bad match up for him?

No, I didn't think he was particularly that good to start with and whilst he was disappointing on Saturday, I think he's found his level. He come out of nowhere when he beat Sonsona and got people talking, he gave a great account of himself against Donaire and at 28, he'll stick around for a few more years.
Ishimoto wanted it more and I was impressed with his performance, Japan has a strong boxing scene and it normally means something when you leave it behind with your '0' still intact.

Looking forward to him on that card but missed it. Always liked what he brought to the ring. Hoping this is not the end for Wilfredo
