  • Why Were There So Many Bills In France On April 6th?

There were 15 separate bills in France on Saturday night. Most of them with 2 or 4 bouts on the bill.

    This seems unusually high.

Is it a traditional 'boxing' day in the country or just an abnormality?

Sorry....not a clue on this one.

But if you flip through Boxing News it is always noticeable that three countries (aside from obviously the USA) always seem to have more fights than you can point a stick-at and you could pretty much go to a show 52 weeks of the year and still miss most of the action!

France is one of them and Japan and Argentina are the others. What the quality of boxing is like is anyone's guess but these countries do seem to put on a heck of alot of shows!
