  • Billy Joe Saunders

Bullshizz stoppage aside Billy Joe just destroyed a highly touted Aussie amateur star Jarrod Fletcher...

Everything about his style just oozes class, his fluidity, reflexes, punching power, everything impresses me about him at the moment.

Cant wait to see him up against some tougher opponents in the future!

    (and hes still only 23)

I only saw the stoppage it looked a little early although I didn't see the 30 seconds prior so who knows.

I do have high hopes for Billy Joe though.

I do rate and like bjs but I'm still not certain if he will be world level , I hope he makes it but I do think he seems a bit open defensively

I agree at the moment for sure but he appears at least to have good defensive instincts... his reactions are quick and his head is alway moving when hes letting his shots go.

Idk i reckon of all our prospects hes got the biggest upcurve for sure

I hope he does well cause he seems a decent bloke , I still think degale and groves will do better . I think degale will be a world champ and with groves's offense he's got a good chance I just worry a bit about how open he is .

Out of all the Olympians, BJS is showing the most promise.

For an Olympic gold medallist, DeGale is atrocious.

As a proud Englishman with some ***** roots I hope he goes on to win, and defend, a genuine world title.

But can we all agree on not calling him BJS. It just looks so wrong for a group of men to be discussing that.

                  BJS is fine.

If it were BJs, I could understand. But when we talk about Olympians and Saunders, I'll think of Bradley Saunders. Could just use Billy-Joe.

I didn't catch his win the other night, how did BJS look?

Looked good basically every time I've seen him previously.
