    Tyson Fury's next fight - 7th July 2012

Reportedly being matched-up with Ruslan Chagaev.

    Thoughts?

Pleasantly surprised to hear this. It's a decent test for Fury, if Chagaev is in decent shape I'd fancy him to beat Fury, despite the height he'll be giving away.

Good fight for Fury. I've never really been high on Chagaev (I think he's overated) and think he'll have trouble with the much bigger Tyson Fury. Tyson Fury has improved vastly over the last couple of years and is reportedly in great shape. I think he uses his size and his superior jab to keepy Chaggy off of him and out of range. He'll press the fight until he gets to Ruslan and KO's him midfight...

Even a Chagaev with a full blown hep C infection beats him.

What about the version of Chagaev who struggled life and death with Travis Walker?

I think people here overate Chagaev - for reasons I do not know.

              ...one armed too?

              Still beats Fury.

Hasn't been confirmed yet. Personally, i'd be surprised if Hennessy came through with this.

Fighting a former world champion is definitely a step in the right direction.

Again, I'll believe it when I see it.

Wasn't Chagaev lined-up for Haye a few years back? I haven't followed him since the Povetkin bout.
