Just now I think it's pretty much a 50/50 fight .I think Frampton is probably the better prospect though especially with his amatuer pedigree and how highly McGuigan rates him also with the last 2 performances .If they do fight soon or next i'd pick Frampton but a hard choice .Frampton late stoppage is my pick

Better Fighter: Quigg or Frampton?

well nothing really changed after last night, that dude from Ghana was a joke, kept running and holding, and got "knocked out" by a shot that my 3 year old niece coulda got up from.
But it was interesting to hear his team talk about Quigg (well Quigg's team) not wanting a fight, and good to hear Quigg say he wants it, and that a deal is pretty much done to fight Munroe. That doesnt leave much for Frampton, he could do with a step up or 6 in levels to prepare to take on the winner of Quigg/Munroe. Hopefully Barry can get Kiko signed for a fight (again)

Im not quite sure why but for me personally above ALL other fightes in boxing Frampton vs Quigg is THE one i want to see and after hearing them both last night im even more keen for it!!!
Munroe vs Quigg is a great matchup though in its own right and a pick em fight! I havent broke the fight down in my head yet but initial instinct is Quigg wins, like i said i rate the kid. Rendall is a big lad at the weight though, experienced at a higher level, proven world class, bull strong and has a good engine too - Its a FIGHT!
Frampton should face (and beat Kiko) then square off with Quigg whether Scott gets by Munroe or not

I'd be concern Quigg won't make it past Munroe. Although Munroe hasn't looked quite as sparky since his unsuccessful world title fight in my opinion.
I would imagine Munroe will land more on him than anyone else and at the moment I'm not to sure about Quiggs chin. That said he may have learnt from the previous scare.
The same could be said for Frampton we don't really know how he takes a shot yet.
At the moment my money would still be on Frampton he seems more adaptable.

I think Frampton might have more upside, as he has some proper skills; both are very talented, though.
I still haven't seen enough of either to make the best determination, but just based on what I've seen it's Frampton.
We'll definitely get a better idea after seeing them both fight next. Munroe and Martinez will be their next opponents, hopefully.Last edited by UglyPug; 03-19-2012, 08:12 AM.

Quigg did what he had to do in getting up off the floor, question is should he even have been in that position. I give him a great deal of respect for taking on Munroe and it could be a good time to add a decent name to his resume.

I'd definitely pick Quigg for this one. Hes faced far better competition, Frampton really has fought nobodies all the way through, at least Quigg has Jamie Arthur and a very faded Jason Booth on his record. He just looks like the more complete, more intelligent fighter. Because he's boxed weak competition Frampton just bulls forward and tries to land big punches. I think Scott Quigg would box his head off
