Calzaghe yea I am a fan without a shaddow how could I not be? But you already know that Though he did put a bit of a tilt on Froch in the begining, I am sure Jo will be routing for our man to. (The proof is in the pudding right)?
I have not seen any of the 360 yet fella but I am gonna DL it now..Prob gonna get me whizzed up

I am intending on returning to a local gym after Xmas just for the fitness, feeling old...
Urrgh i cant stand the Zagster! I'll leave it at that with him, no point us arguing over a retired guy!

U will be jacked up to the max after watching the 360's, they are every bit as good as 24/7 and Froch comes across brilliant. Make sure to catch Staredown too, its pretty much Showtimes version of Face Off - Tense!

Yeah get ur old ass back to the gym fella!

Im thinking about a little break over the festives, been killing it in the gym lately, mainly weights and bag work, bit of sparring here and there

first of all cong**** to Lamont Peterson, was really impressed with him last night. it was a close fight and I couldn't disagree more with the 110-115 score by one of the judges (Nelson Vazquez)

now onto the refs performance: can't really disagree with the point deductions, Khan was pushing and was warned multiple times by the ref. But what I have a issue with is the obvious bias of the ref, all through the fight, all I heard was Khan this and Khan that. Lamont Peterson did everything Khan was getting warned for, and only got warned once for it (through the whole fight).

other than that, it was great fight and can't wait for the rematch

The referee decided this fight's outcome and it was atrocious. He was constantly in Khan's ear, "Khan stop holding", etc.

I thought that I was going hear him tell Khan to stop punching. Telling a fighter to stop holding is not a warning at this level, it is an instruction. If the referee had WARNED of a deduction for holding then the deductions are warranted.

To be honest, this should be ruled a NC and fought again. Khan was not great but he won the fight.

Khan only has HIMSELF to blame for losing this fight. The ref warned him for pushing plenty of times before he deducted the first point, yet he still didn't stop! Khan for me was also lucky to not have a point deducted for holding the head. Peterson never thrust his head toward Khan in a headbutt motion, it was just a solid aggressive tactic! If Khan hadn't sat on the ropes for long periods claiming the shots were having no effect, Peterson wouldn't have looked as good to the judges.

His post fight comments are well out of order. As soon as the decision was announced, Khan didn't look disgusted or outraged. He knew it was close fight and could have gone either way. A close fight doesn't entitle him to an appeal, as this wasn't a robbery. His conduct is no better than Haye blaming his defeat to Klitschko on a broken toe. At least Haye gave Wladamir a bit of credit for fighting a good fight, Khan didn't give Peterson a grain of credit.

It should be down to Peterson and his team if they want to give Khan a rematch, however I feel the extent to which Golden Boy will throw their toys out the pram will force this through.

Get a Bradley - Khan fight made.

The ref was terrible. I was so sick of hearing his voice by the end. Either tell the guys to break and restart the fight or just let them fight out. Whichever I just wished he would just stop wailing in Khan's ear. You could see Khan losing focus and trying to look up at the ref to see what he was on about. It is Cortez syndrome again where the ref is being an attention whore and stealing focus from the fighters.

Mmmm I think we will have to agree to disagree fella as I didnt see it that way at all, Khan was doing Majority of the pushing, Khan was doing the majority of the holding, Head locks and leaning on the back of the neck while complaining for know reason..The ref IMO was trying to keep the fight flowing as quick as he was saying let go Khan he was saying fight on as quick as possible..If Khan does most of the holding your gonna hear the ref call his name more..the ref did not call let go Khan and Khan wasn't doing anything did he?.. I just tell it how I see it I guess..

The bigining of round 6 the ref even had ago at Petterson corner and said bring ya fighter out late and I will take a point lol

                Peace

The referee is suppose to tell them to break, step in, warn the fighter then instruct them to box. This rarely,if ever, was done. If a referee never actually breaks the fighters and gives a direct warning to one, they have no reason to deduct any points.

Yes Khan was holding but no more then in any other fight. The difference is that the referee in the other fights will step in and force a break. In this fight the referee yelled at Khan, then Khan complies and gets hit on the "break". The fact is the referee mismanaged the fight very badly.
