You obviously didn't see the post fight interview where Cotto said "I will be with Bob Arum forever."

That means no Mayweather fight. Arum already talking about Cotto and Chavez Jr. Go figure, another in-houe Top Rank fight.

**** gets old after a while...and knowing I watched a free stream tonight instead of line Arum's pockets for promoting in-house **** time after time makes me feel good. I won't pay for another Top Rank fight until Mayweather and either Manny, or Cotto is made.

Cotto looked very good tonight. Floyds been ducking Cotto longer than Pac and will definitely duck and dodge him now.

Mayweather fights opponents who make business sense? Cotto has BUSINESS tattooed all over him!

      It's gonna happen people.

Cotto has never been able to deal with fast handed fighters. I never recall Mayweather ducking Cotto and I know Floyd has ducked everyone from Sugar Ray Robinson to ALI but lets just see if Cotto wants it. I have never heard Cotto request Floyd. I do respect Cotto and hold in higher in ATG than Pac Man because I think he has never really ducked anyone accept maybe Paul Williams and maybe Berto, but I think thats more of Arum not wanting to lose any of his cash cows.Where as PAC has ducked many fighters but gets status for the older fighters that he beat. Barrera, Morrales Cotto, Delahoya at WW and Margarito. But you will notice the fighter in his same weight class with fast hands and defense he avioided. Casamayor, H Soto, Guzman, Bradley, Berto, Y Foreman, Mosley, Mayweather and numerous other even Rhaeem. But I can never say I have ever seen Cotto avoid tough competition, eventhough he has been hurt in fights, he either hits his opponents low to get a breather or fights on like a warrior.

Can Cotto out box/BRAWL FLOYD Absoulutely not.

this goes against everything mayweathers about, he normally fights people coming off huge epic wins like marquez again diaz 1, mosley against margarito, ortiz against berto, or their either undefeated or on a undefeated run like hatton, de la hoya

Mayweather fights guys when hes got something to gain other than just money, with cotto he makes a lot of money but doesnt really change or enhance his status in the game, if he beat somebody like a canelo(who hes been attending his recent fights) that would enhance his career and raise him a few levels and no matter who he fights mayweathers gonna take home atleast 40million

This fight would have been more interesting before Cotto took two beatings. Mayweather is too good for him, would rather see Floyd against Sergio, Saul or Pac of course.

Cotto would give floyd his toughest fight in a long time especially if he fights as well as he did on saturday. I'd love to se it but of course this fight will never happen because of the Arum v Floyd situation ... plus the fact that Cotto is just a little too dangerous for Floyd to risk.
