A lovely article about Joe Frazier

I thought this was really touching.

    http://www.attheg****vine.com/wordpr...to-joe-frazier

" At one level Joe Frazier was the American dream. The son of a sharecropper from South Carolina, he rose from poverty that would have crushed lesser men to win an Olympic gold medal in 1964 and then went on to capture the world heavyweight title. His is the archetypal rags to riches story. And yet old Smoke was much more than that. He was a man’s man, the trait that most endeared him to me and countless others."

Smokin' Joe Frazier sharp as a razor! Float like a butterfly sting like a bee? He's the one who did the job look and see!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Joe Frazier was a real champion as long as he lived. Ali? They kicked out of N.O.I. because he crapped on provided prayer rugs. When he dies "I will say S.I.H.," meaning, (Suffer In Hell) because that's all his racist ass deserves. The Real Champion is Joe Frazier R.I.P.

Nice biography of Joe Frazier there... He's definitely a great fighter. Like Pacquiao, he rose from poverty and achieved fame through his (for the lack of a better word) "sincerity" in boxing...

Pessimistic is a limp-wristed troll/boxing newb that doesn't know anything about Joe Frazier's life or professional career to say anything differently. He's a casual boxing viewer, and like any other casual boxing fan,his only knowledge of Frazier is directly linked with Ali.
