Mayweather Vs Ortiz

Just watched the fight and I was most impressed with Mayweathers style, Coming forward and boxing setting up the right and also setting a trap for the left hook. It was clear from the begining that 24 year old Ortiz is not at the same level as Mayweather.
Mayweather was as far as effort goes at 60% of what he can do IMO..But what I did notice was that he can get hit and I guess when moving forward there is always going to be a good chance of that, But the skill level of slipping the punches wasn't great what I mean is, If you look at what Jo Calzaghe did was come forward and not get hit that often, And yes I am saying "Calzaghe had better defence coming forward than Mayweather". So in that respect to Mayweather he needs more movement, Maybe work on the twitching muscles..
I know that you can't go off the back of one fight and Mayweather has been out the ring for a bit, But trust me when I say this he will be in trouble with Paco big time if he does not address this in his boxing..
Ortiz His dirty tactics in the ring is a disgrace, On at least three occassions he tried butting Mayweather and deserved to lose the way that he did IMO, He set out to butt Mayweather, *** that I would have asked for a stool and hit Ortiz with it.
The way that the fight ended is not down to Mayeather in anyway its the ref, Cortez Or "Bum Bandit" As I like to call him should not be the ref in any title fight theres a lot on the line and you need a ref that does not continue to make mistakes in title fightd he should struck off..
Its great to see Mayeather back though! But what he said to Larry I dont understand nothing bad was asked Larry said that it was clear that Mayweather was in control of the fight what is Mayweathers problem..Talking to an old man like that what a prick, He really needs to adjust his atitude..What it looked like to me was that he knew the questions was coming about Paco and decided the cowards way out..
All in all 6/10

I gotta say though i thought Ortiz did well, he was in the fight and seemed to buzz Floyd a bit before he ******LY headbutted him. What was he thinking!? He deserved to get beat after that. Floyd looked great all things considered but while his defence is brilliant he did have an auro of vulnerability about him and did take a couple, After this i give Pac a good chance.

For the record if i was Floyd id have done the same thing, he was pissed about the head butt and the time for sportsmanship had been and gone imo

Im now officially a Mayweather fan after last night. That was ****ing quality, Ortiz deserved that.

Ortiz choked big time, the occasion got to him and as soon as he threw that dumbass headbutt i knew Mayweather was gonna stop him. Especially after he was all apologetic after it, his head wasnt thinking straight at all.


Well worth the 15 quid and the lack of sleep.

The rest of the card was alright too, Morales didnt look great but he sure ****ed up the other dudes face on his way to his 4th (bull**** admittidley) division title

Ortiz needs to get his emotions in check, he's young and naive

Hopefully he can learn from this, A. Protect urself at all times and B. keep ur cool and dont let urself get over excited and frustrated

I missed rounds 2, 3 and 4! They showed them AFTER the fight! Barely any explanation or apology either!

Still was a good one, Fury looked like he has been really working on that jab. When he used it he looked class. His power is there too and he has a great attitude. Classy too that he never tried to pretend he wasnt hurt after the fight in that second round (which i missed!)

He's vulnerable and hittable but he is good. I think Price could KO him, he has BIG power in that right hand and the size and talent to land it. Fury on the other hand seems tougher and has more fight in him (nothing really to base this on as i havent seen Price have to show any yet), big experience in Price too. What u thinking my man?

I am thinking a long the same lines as you to be honest if Price hits him with that right its gonna be good night thats for sure.
