  • David Haye

I thought he looked class last night, for me he is the most exciting fighter in the uk to watch at the moment, even though
he has his weaknesses.Just wondering what level does everyone think he can reach?
Must admit that the italian looked bad out of shape.

I don't want to take anything away from David Haye's performance because he looked very good, and AT LAST! He seems to be keeping his hands up a bit more.

However I don't think that the Italian really came to fight, he had a flabby belly and didn't show much aggresion at all.

Im not sure that we will know just how good he is until he fights someone who will put him under pressure for say ten rounds at least. But as you say at least his hands were held up this time, which is an improvement.

i want to see haye in the 6th or 7th having to fight hard to get control of the fight, then we'll see if hes learned much in the pros, Thompson exposed him a treat

I don't think Haye will be able to stay at cruiser for much longer. I think he'll step up a weight before too long. With a little more experience he's going to be far, far too strong for any of the cruisers anyway..Yes the Italian looked out of shape, but I reckon he was S**t scared of Haye's power before he even started, that's why he didn't throw a worthwhile punch!
