    Skelton/McBride to clash Dec 10

British heavyweight champion Matt Skelton is to fight Mike Tyson conqueror Kevin McBride at the ExCel Arena in London's Docklands on December 10.

The fight has not been officially confirmed but it is thought that promoters Sports Network have lined up either WBA heavyweight champion John Ruiz or WBO titleholder Lamon Brewster for the winner.

Unheralded Irishman McBride, 33-4-(28), finished the career of the once great Tyson by ****ing him out inside six rounds back in June. The 38 year-old Skelton is 17-0-(16).

This fight doesn't have any of the appeal that Skelton/Williams would have, I can see a few clicnches in this fight!

That is one exciting heavyweight bout...... Puts the Thrilla in Manilla to shame anyway.

I just hope they get a good strong referee in there to break them up coz he'll need to be a fit bastard to be separating these two bears all night!

          Here's the latest from BBC:

          Williams v Skelton falls through

Danny Williams' heavyweight clash with British champion Matt Skelton has been called off for the second time.

The pair were due to meet on 3 December after an original July date was delayed when Williams dropped out with flu.

But the showdown has been shelved again because the two camps were unable to agree final terms to fight in London.

Skelton will now fight on 10 December against an opponent to be unveiled on Thursday, although speculation is that he will face Ireland's Kevin McBride.

Like Williams, McBride made a name for himself by beating a past-his-prime Mike Tyson.

Brixton boxer Williams failed in his bid to confront Skelton and coax him into agreeing to a fight.

He drove an open-top bus to Skelton's home town of Bedford but only managed to have a showdown with a car park attendant, who threatened to give him a ticket.

To be fair to Skelton, he deserves an attempt at the top. Williams had his with Tyson and then flopped big time time Klitchko. Cant blame Skelton for turning down Williams for 'Bride. The public would love Skelton-Williams, but its not always about giving the public what they want.

LOL, if he can't pay Skelton 50G, I can see why he is afraid of getting a ticket.
