HUSSEIN VOWS TO END REIGN OF HARRISON

Nedal Hussein has promised to provide his own fireworks when he challenges Scott Harrison in Glasgow on November 5.
Hussein is confident the WBO world featherweight title will be heading back Down Under with punching more powerful than the Scottish fighter has ever experienced in his career.

And the 27-year-old can certainly back up his boast with a staggering 14 first-round knockouts - 20 stoppages inside three rounds - in a 41-fight career.

"Harrison won't know what hit him when I start landing with my punches," he said. "I don't care how long the fight goes, it could be in the first round or the 12th round, one things for sure it will not go to points because Harrison will be knocked out.

"He's never faced a puncher like me in his career. Victor Polo, William Abelyan, Walter Estrada, those guys can't punch like I can and Harrison knows it.

"He will need rockets of his own to cope with me but he just doesn't have the punch to stop me."

With only two losses in his career - against Manny Pacquiao, whom he floored but lost to on a hotly disputed cuts decision, and Oscar Larios - Hussein is confident he will claim Harrison's title.

"I've been in with two of the best around that weight in Larios and Pacquiao and Harrison doesn't even come close to them," he added.

"I feel that I'm at my best when I'm 130lb. Against Larios and Pacquiao I was at 126lb and didn't feel that strong but you will see the difference when I fight Harrison.

"I've seen his fights against Manuel Media and Michael Brodie and I know he likes to come forward and attack which will be a big mistake against me.

"Harrison's reign is over and it's now my turn to take over the division."

    ------------------------

I'm not sure on this one?... ... I've always thought Nedal Hussein fought at bantamweight or super-bantamweight, so at first I thought "Bull**** to this fight!" But after having a little look at his resume, he's hopped about all over the weight classes.

This could be an interesting little match up.

The guy sounds like he's coming to fight so it'll be exciting if that's the case and your right he's been going up & down the weights for the past 4 yrs or so & has been around the 130 mark, maybe Harrison won't have as much of a weight advantage on fight night, I imagine he'll have the reach on Scott just by the look of him, he can dig well to the body and we know Harrison doesn't like that(Nobody does but you get me!) so this could be a dangerous one for him depending on how Hussein handles the weight I suppose, we'll find out pretty quick whether that will be an issue, also there's no real names on his record apart from Larios & Pacquiao, though he apparently gave Pacman a good fight of it a while back so he's no mug and it won't be easy but I have to say if he can't knock out Brian Carr at 122 I don't see him doing it to Harrison at 126. Harrison on points.

This will be one hell of an exciting fight! I think Harrison will be the slight favorite and I wouldn't be surprised at all if Hussein pulls the upset. Both fighters have iron chins and I expect this to go to a decision. Don't take these the wrong way, but I'm getting the feeling that the judges will pull another hometown decision for Harrison as their fight will be really close.

          Prediction: Harrison SD.

If Nedal doesnt get disqualified in this fight, then I'll pick him by decision. I mean, this guy used headbutts, elbows, low blows, hitting behind the head, hitting on break and alot more when he fought Pacquiao and still didnt get disqualified.

Is that it Manny? I expected a much more comical response from you! If you put it like that everyone is someone's left overs unless they're unbeaten, just like in everyday life, you go out with a nice girl but have no doubt, she's someone's left overs
