    Groves vs Degale amatuer fight

    For those who have not seen it here it is!

    Degale edged it for me,always thought he was fortunated enough to get the medal in the olympics remember watchin darren sutherland outclassin him numerous times but didnt turn up in the semi's but as a pro he's really come on fair play to him.......

      Close fight could have gone either way,both guys have come on since then obviously,however Degale has improved a lot more

        The amateur fight was so close it doesn't have any bearing whatsoever on their upcoming fight. What is does prove, with DeGale's childlike histrionics at the end of the fight, is that he hasn't just grown into an absolutely infuriating chump - he was one back then as well.

        Unfortunately I can only see DeGale winning by a landslide. There are only two factors that could swing the fight Groves' way: i) the fact that DeGale is spending up to 5 nights a week in the male sauna called "Big Tools" just down the road from his gym (I should know - my mate's dad runs it); and ii) the fact that Michael Watson visits DeGale in the gym quite regularly, so DeGale could easily injure himself by slipping on his slobber.
