Alright guys, I'm 18, 5'7 and weight 56kg which is in the featherweight division. and I want to start amateur rankings but I might be considered as a bully? Ive been training for about a year now and planning to train more till i'm ready for my amateur rank. People said ill be fighting younger guys who are 13/14/15/16/17 is this bullying by age? I also don't want to move up in weight class cause then Id have to put on weight. Boxing is a sport and its about competing and skill age doesn't matter? Should i still go for it?

I am sure that there are plenty of kids younger than you with good experience that will bully you. I was beating guys 23 and 24 and on national television when I was 16 or 17 yrs old. But go for it man, you never know until you answer a bell..........Rockin'

You'll be matched up by your weight and also at least at the beginning by experience. You'll be alright. And as Rockin said, don't worry about being a bully. First punch you take in those 10oz gloves will remove all concern.
