Murad is certainly not the best promoter. But unfortunately, Murad is the only one that made a real good offer to Pacquiao.

Like I said its unfortunate that no credible choice has dropped by. If Pacquiao has a real manager then maybe he can have a better shot in choosing a very good promoter. But I guess he's not so lucky in that department also. Maybe its one reason he likes to shift to billiards. Efren Reyes has Puyat's support throughout his career.

Murad, Cedric and Don should all be banned from boxing as their behavior is DISGRACEFUL and tantamount to theft. How these animals can look at themselves in the mirror is beyond me. Don King proves that there is no God as if there was he would no longer be around. However if there is a heaven and hell Don King is proof that hell is winning.

I myself don't like what Murad is doing to Manny. I don't like what Marty Elorde is doing either. What I don't understand is what is Rod Nazario doing for Manny.

Smart ass that's what! - forget the past, lets calculate his present offer. Ten million Pesos signing bonus and twenty thousand per month allowance. January to July (six months) Pacman will make $2.6M. Thirty percent of that is $780,000 or roughly thirty nine million pesos. He is offering Manny Ten Million One Hundred Twenty Thousand and he is getting Thirty Nine Million. Now figure that out! If I were Manny I will not renew Marty's contract and I will save Thirty Nine Million Pesos in six months.

Why even deal with a promoter. Why not just deal with the networks directly. It does not make sense that every deal necessitates a manager and promoter.

From what I understand, you really need a Manager to deal with the network or arrange fights for you. So a good manager is really indispensible to boxers. Now, a good manager is supposed to take care of his ward not to milk his ward or dupe his ward. In Manny's case, he has business manager (Nazario) and he has a manager too (Elorde). Which to me is redundant, he can dump both and get a good one.
