Joe calzaghe may not be able to fight Lacy any time soon as he may have a broken left hand. however his fight was a message sent to lacy as he beat a guy with one hand....

if lacy aint a coward he will still accept the fight early next year when Joe has healed up...

Please read my post on the fight between calzaghe vs Ashira which i first posted would be his opponent. Calzaghe is a coward who never wanted to fight Lacy. Beside he is not a doctor and confirmed he would not be ready for nov 5th

do some research please rudy the fight should of been earlier this year but lacy chose reid thats lacy's fault, joe has always had fragile hands a extra 2 months wait to see lacy get out boxed wont be too long :P

you need to do somne research Reid was mandatory he had to fight him or be stripped. Joe did not after the Veit he should have not had a warmup in september he knew he would find a get out clause. I have to laugh as Dr Joe Calzaghe is now a doctor and can tell the world he broke his hand personally i don't think it is even damaged but he fought with one arm to get out of the fight.

I am probably am because i am totally pissed off regarding this. Remember the conversation we had about this and everybody fears that he should not be taking a tune up. For christ sake he is a world champin bear in mind Hagler before his fight with Lenoard was off for a whole year prior to fighting him. Lennox has had longer layoff than Joe. Facts are facts Joe last fought in May his next contest if he had gone straight into a fight with Lacy would have been six months. Now if he does fight again which will be in February will he want another warm-up fight ?

He slags off Hatton But look when Hatton last fought in December and went straight into the fight with Kostas with a six month layoff. Actions speak louder than words and frankly not impressed this was so predictable

I'm a Calzaghe fan, but if he doesn't fight Lacy after all that has gone back and forth in the press recently I will give up with him.

However, this injury is genuine... You can't fake a broken had x-ray.

Mind you, if Lacy refuses to fight Joe now (because of the injury, and time waiting) then I would consider Lacy being the one that broke down negotiations.

I think it would be much better for Joe Calzaghe if the fight took place in the States.

Joe sells tickets ok over here, but he doesn't sell tickets the way Hatton does! - (And Lacy being able to sell 15,000 seats is a deal sealer).

I also think it would be good to help boost Joe's profile in the States.

I think with the prices of tickets in the UK it makes it a tough call but like you, i think he should go and beat Lacy in the states. Calzaghe should only travel for big money though, because he is without doubt number 1 at the weight and should have home advantage if he chooses.
