Gavin & Brook

Gavin will be ready to fight Brook in about 6months I would have thought. My only concern is Gavin looks small for a WW and doesn't possess massive one punch KO power atm. I think his power will get better every fight as he seems to be sitting down on his shots a lot more recently.

Brook seems a solid size for a WW, has fast hands and feet and good power, he does make a lot of mistakes though and I personally think his balance can be a bit suspect!

At this point in time I would edge towards Brook but depending on how they both progress in the next few fights (they are still both a work in progress after all) that will likely change, Gavin appears to have the potential to be something special and should be too much for Brook as he matures.

I thought Brook would be on the world level by now, not sure what's wrong with him, but his progress has been very gradual, only had a maximum of 3 fights per year since 2006 and still remained at domestic level.

I like Gavin, doesn't have any outstanding attributes, but he's complete and well rounded in what he does, seems very tactually astute.

what happend to brook's british title? was he stripped or id he vacate?
and allthough gavin looks good let's wait untill he's atleast got the british, comonwealth or even european before placing him ahead of prospects who's acheived this, i mean who's he beatan i know he's looked good when he has fought and i think he could go far it would be great if he could take over from khan at light welter when khan moves up, but i can't see how he'd fight for a world title in the next 18 months allthough if he got the britsh which he could get quite quicklt there are so many fighter to face to get a good rep at light welter like kotelnek, or peterson or whoever?
how about him fighting danny garcia who is supposed to be a good american prospect at light welter it would be great if he beat him.
