    Gavin - Doesn't have the power to trouble top light welterweights. Could possibly become a belt holder but he won't stay a champion for too long.

    Groves - He is a strange mix between David Haye and Carl Froch. He has decent power, and good punching angles, but he is stationary and too wide open. He will struggle if he doesn't improve or change style.

    Cleverly - The most talented of the current British bunch. He is a good all rounder, and reminds me of a lanky Devon Alexander. Again he is too open but he seems to have a good chin on him. He could be phenomenal if he hooks up with a top trainer.

    De Gale - He has great reflexes, and can throw any punch from any angle. He isn't the fastest boxer in the world but he does have decent speed as well as power. At this moment he could go either way. However I have a feeling he will turn out average. I don't think he is serious enough for this sport.

      How does Gavin not have the power?

      He has 6 stoppages in his 7 fights.

      The only person he hasn't stopped is someone that has never been stopped before and lets face it, Gavin was clowning on McDonagh.

        Look at the guys he is fighting. And most of his wins have come from him outclassing his opponents and the referee stepping in. I haven't seen him seriously hurt an opponent yet except from a couple of bodyshots. I might be wrong.....

          He dropped Saville twice, he dropped Fearn twice.

          Cannot think of who else he's dropped.

          Look at the fact that he's fighting people who are there to survive as well. When they try and fight Gavin, he clowns them.

          Would you say McCloskey has enough power for world level?

            McCloskey is a good boxer and has ok power but all the top 140 pounders beat him. I'd like to see him fight Kotelnik. That would show how good he really is.

              Gavin should go for;

              Morrison
              Lynes
              Wright
              Daws

              Either one of those before his 10th fight.
