Groves beat Degale as an amateur but they've been on different trajectories since. Would be a good fight. Don't think it will happen for a while though. Warren will want major money and will want these two to be bigger household names before he sets up an all british fight
My list of fighters I can't wait to see fail so we can stop listening to nationalists/promoters hype them up as the next big things,
Chavez Jr.,
Cleverly,
Groves.
Those guys will step up and fail dismally.
Pirog is overrated already, too.
Cleverly needs a new trainer, but Groves' style is just wrong for the 168 lb division. The only reason it works so well for Haye is he's fighting guys much bigger and slower.
Gavin is the only one I'm really confident of doing well. There are a few others, but they haven't stepped up yet.

I'm interested in Smith-Simpson.
I agree with you. I have full confidence in Gavin. All the others are going to get bashed sooner or later. Groves is fun though.
