  • Is Maidana a small name?

One of the reasons put forward by Team Khan for "delaying" the fight with Maidana is that he was not well known in the States and needed to be better known before being worthy of sharing the ring with Khan.
From recent posts here on this website he seems pretty popular and well known. Alexander and Bradley don't seem to have the recognition they deserve despite being champions. I get the impression that Maidana is not far off them as far as recognition is concerned.
Is Maidana really not that well known in the States?

Don't think to top bills like Malignaggi. He probably will be soon tho he's already beat a top American prospect Victor Ortiz and is the interm champ .Don't know how he never got his shot not sure about the mandatories and that .Read tho it's still dangerous even Malignaggi in his back yard making his American debut so early .Check the hbo's greatest hits on youtube Calzaghe , Hatton and that they didn't make there's to late on .

Hmm, 7 letters. Khan's smaller name, that's only 4. Then you've got Alexander, he's just a bit bigger name than both.

Obviously, all pale compared to this name:

            That's bigger than all.

He is a very small name, and known only to a few argies and hardcore fans.
