The best fight was back in Dragon Ball (not Z) when kid Goku fought the old Piccolo Daimoyou. The DBZ fights had too much flying around and excessive ki blasts IMO but DB was all crazy kungfu with tripping and sweeps and stuff. You can't sweep if you're flying damnit! Also a ki blast/special attack really meant something in Dragon Ball. When Goku did the kamehameha it was more of a last resort desperation move because it is so exhausting whereas in DBZ they can all shoot them off like nothing.

Damn I need to go buy some subbed Dragon Ball RIGHT NOW.
